It always has been one of the city’s quietest corners and nowadays it still remains a charming and authentic place, with several coffeeshops, independent shops and trendy restaurants. We have the perfect location for those who want to explore the walking trails of Rota Vicentina, which run through the steep cliffs of the Southwest Alentejo, or enjoy the world renowned beaches near by.
O Lugar is located in the village centre, in one of the quietest street, just two minutes walking distance from the historic Marquês de Pombal square and the bus station. We don’t have private parking, but it is easy to park in our street or in the public parking just 100 meters away.
